Quentin States-Polet- CEO Kreeda Games: On Their Latest Game Dance Mela

WATShow got Quentin State-Polet, the CEO of Kreeda Games to talk through the idea of their latest launch Dance Mela. Dance Mela being an MMO from Kreeda’s stable targeting the wider base of the non-gaming lot in India. Kreeda in fact is India’s first and perhaps the only dedicated gaming stable to completely focus on Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming. So it was interesting to hear Quentin’s views on MMO in India in general besides Dance Mela.

Quentin answered questions and put forward his views on:

  1. What is dance mela?
  2. On who is Kreeda’s target audience with Dance Mela?
  3. On how Kreeda plans to counter the player drop rate that most MMOs face every month?
  4. The monetization strategy with Dance Mela
  5. On the regional scale and presence in Dance Mela, for instance any regional songs
  6. The response to Dance Mela
  7. His views on MMO as a concept in general and whether it would work in India?
  8. New product plans of Kreeda
  9. And the various platforms Kreeda plans to target?

The entire interview went as below.
